Svenska Kraftnät

Linxon won an order of around $20 million from Svenska kraftnät to supply two 400 kV air insulated substations to Ringhals nuclear power plant in Sweden. Construction starts in early spring 2020, with first station commissioning in 2022 and second in 2023.

Linxon, an ABB and SNC-Lavalin company, will upgrade an electrical substation for Svenska kraftnät as part of the Stockholms Ström project. The order is worth around $65 million and includes a 400 kV GIS substation, transformers, and control systems supplied by ABB.

Implenia, in a joint venture with Hochtief, won a contract worth approximately EUR 90 million from Svenska Kraftnät to build the Anneberg-Skanstull tunnel in Stockholm. The 14 km tunnel will expand electricity supply for the Greater Stockholm region, with completion scheduled for 2024.

ABB won an order worth around $30 million from Svenska Kraftnät and Energinet to upgrade the first subsea link between Sweden and Denmark.
