Weber Metals Inc., a division of Otto Fuchs KG, unveiled a new $180 million, 60,000-ton hydraulic forging press at its facility in Paramount, California. The press is the highest tonnage forging press in the Americas and will forge large monolithic titanium and aluminum aerospace parts.

Weber Metals, a division of Otto Fuchs KG, unveiled a new $180 million 60,000-ton forging press at its new 2.5-acre facility in Paramount, California. The press will double employment to 800 jobs and produce parts for aircraft and spacecraft, with the first production part for Boeing's 737 MAX.
