Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co. Ltd.

Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co., Ltd, a Chinese automotive radiator manufacturer, acquired Setrab, a Swedish supplier of coolers for premium car brands, as announced on 3 June 2019.

Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery has signed a supplier contract to provide 2.25 million oil coolers for Jaguar Land Rover's D4 diesel and P4 gasoline engines. Supply of diesel engine oil coolers begins in 2020, gasoline coolers in 2021.

General Motors and SAIC General Motors designated Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery to supply aluminum water air coolers for Chevrolet and Cadillac vehicles. Mass production is expected to start at the end of 2021, with global sales of 2.64 million units over five years.

Pierburg GmbH, a Rheinmetall Automotive subsidiary, agreed to form a joint venture with Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery Co. Ltd. in Tiantai, China, to produce cooled exhaust-gas recirculation modules. Pierburg will hold a 51% stake. Production is set to start in 2018.

Pierburg GmbH, a subsidiary of Rheinmetall Automotive, signed an agreement with Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery to form a joint venture, Pierburg Yinlun Emission Technology Co., Ltd., for producing cooled exhaust-gas recirculation modules in Shanghai, China. Pierburg holds a 51% stake.
