Marvell Technology, Inc. and Lumentum announced a definitive agreement for Marvell to acquire Lumentum in an all-stock transaction valued at $115 billion enterprise value. The deal combines electrical and optical technologies for AI connectivity. The announcement was made on November 2, 2026.

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the cryogenic business of Brooks Automation, including cryopump operations in Chelmsford, MA and Monterrey, Mexico, for a total value of USD 675 million. Completion is expected in Q1 2019, subject to regulatory approvals.

Watlow, a thermal systems designer and manufacturer, has acquired Yarbrough Solutions Worldwide of Austin, Texas, a semiconductor equipment solutions provider. Terms were not disclosed.

Entegris agreed to acquire the SAES Pure Gas business, a maker of molecular gas purification systems based in San Luis Obispo, California, from SAES Group for approximately $355 million. The deal is subject to customary purchase price adjustments.

Pfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG acquired California-based Nor-Cal Products, a vacuum component maker with about 300 employees in the USA and Vietnam, for $68 million. The deal was announced on 1 August 2017.

Sumitomo Heavy Industries has acquired Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Persimmon Technologies, adding vacuum robotics and Hybrid-Field electric motor technology to its portfolio.
