Sarantis Group completed on June 14, 2023 the acquisition of the 20% minority stake in Poland-based packaging maker Polipak sp. z o.o. for 22 million PLN via its subsidiary Sarantis Polska, giving it full ownership.

Constantia Flexibles signed an agreement to acquire Drukpol Flexo, a Polish flexible packaging company with 183 employees and two sites near Warsaw. Terms were not disclosed and completion is expected in Q2 2023, subject to competition clearance.

Oben Group acquired Poligal Group, a European plastic film maker with BOPP and CPP plants in Portugal and Poland, commercial offices in Germany and a European sales network. The Skarbimierz plant has 40,000 tonnes/year BOPP capacity.

Indorama Ventures agreed to acquire IMP Polowat, a PET recycling business with two sites in Bielsko-Biala and Leczyca, Poland, with combined capacity of 23,000 tonnes of rPET flakes and 4,000 tonnes of rPET pellets. Closing is expected in Q3 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.

Logoplaste Group acquired a majority stake in Masterchem, a Polish PET container manufacturer, forming Masterchem Logoplaste led by CEO Piotr Wasilewski, with the deal completed after UOKiK antitrust approval.

Agencja Rozwoju Przemyslu bought shares in ZPO Opakomet Lowicz and Opakomet Krakow for over PLN 18 million, a first step toward forming the Polish Packaging Group Opakomet through a merger of the two companies.

Logoplaste Group signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Polish PET container manufacturer Masterchem, with the founding family keeping a significant minority stake. Closing is expected in Q1 2020, subject to regulatory approvals.
