Wateralia has acquired Italian control valve specialist CSA, based in Salsomaggiore Terme, Parma, adding engineered valves to its pump portfolio. CSA CEO Luca Bonatti retains a minority stake. No deal value was stated.

Japan's Tsurumi Manufacturing has acquired the entire share capital of Zenit International SpA, holding company of Italian wastewater treatment plant producer Zenit Group, based in San Cesario sul Panaro near Modena. Zenit had a 2023 consolidated turnover of over EUR 40 million.

Italian pump maker Calpeda is joining Wateralia, a platform company backed by Ambienta SGR that already includes Caprari. The combined group will have sales above €220 million, five production sites and 1,000 employees; the announcement was made on 26 July 2022.

Industrial Flow Solutions agreed to acquire Dreno Pompe, an Italian maker of electrical submersible wastewater pumps based in Monselice, Padua. Dreno will keep its name and plant in the Veneto region.

Spanish group Fluidra announced the acquisition of 90% of Agrisilos, the Cremona company that owns the Piscine Laghetto brand, which makes above-ground pools. Agrisilos has about 30 employees and sells mainly in Italy and France.
