Ringmetall SE agreed with the owner family to acquire all shares of Hutek Oy of Nastola, Finland, a producer of bag-in-box packaging, effective 8 January 2025. Hutek generated revenue of about EUR 4 million last year.

The European Commission granted unconditional merger clearance for Georg Fischer's voluntary public cash tender offer for all outstanding Uponor shares at EUR 28.50 per share. US antitrust waiting period had already expired, and completion is pending.

Emballator Group agreed to acquire Europak Oy, an Espoo-based maker of blow-moulded plastic canisters with about EUR 8 million turnover; closing is expected on 1 September 2023 and the price was not disclosed.

Aliaxis, through its Finnish subsidiary Unari Holding Oy, announced on 22 May 2023 a voluntary all-cash public tender offer at EUR 25.75 per share for all Uponor shares. The offer is conditional on acceptance above 50 percent and is expected to complete in early Q4 2023.

Walki Group signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Westpak Oy Ab and Flexipack Oy Ab, Finnish flexible packaging producers with about EUR 40 million combined 2021 sales, subject to competition approval. The price was not disclosed.

One Equity Partners Europe signed an agreement to acquire Walki Group, a Finland-based technical laminate and protective packaging material producer, from Finnish private equity firm CapMan Buyout.
