Voith Hydro Shanghai signed a contract with Henan Tianchi Pumped Storage to supply four 300 MW Francis reversible pump turbines and generators for a 1,200 MW plant in Henan Province, China. The contract was signed in December 2017 and is scheduled for completion by December 2020.

Metso received four major valve orders for oil and gas projects from top-ten Chinese petrochemical customers, for greenfield investments scheduled for 2017 and 2018. The orders include about 2,500 Neles valves, and the total value and customer names were not disclosed.

Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies unit, won nearly $800 million in contracts from Air China and Shenzhen Airlines to supply V2500 engines for A320ceo aircraft, announced at Airshow China.

Belgian company Keppel Seghers will supply waste-to-energy technology for an extension of a waste energy installation near Shenzhen, Guangdong, worth about $26.7 million. The plant is due for completion in 2018.
