PSA AVTEC Powertrain, a joint venture of Groupe PSA and AVTEC Group, opened a greenfield facility in Hosur to make transmissions and BS VI engines, with an investment of ₹600 crore and 800 new jobs.
Chinese supplier Nanjing Aotecar New Energy Technology won a supply order from Groupe PSA for automotive air-conditioning compressor units, issued on 5 January 2017. A formal contract is expected to be signed later.
