Chongqing Gas Compressor Works won the second-round tender for BOG high-pressure compressors for the Wuhu Changjiang LNG inland receiving and transshipment terminal in Anhui, at a bid price of RMB 18.5 million. The tender was awarded by Anhui Changjiang LNG Co.

Shenji Group won all six sets of 110,000 m³/h air separation compressor units for the first phase of Inner Mongolia Baofeng Coal-Based New Materials' 3 Mt/yr coal-to-olefins project. The order was reported on 27 December 2022, and Shenji also won 27 other process compressor sets for the project.

Shanghai Yuxuan Pump & Valve signed a supply contract with Sinopec Oil Construction Engineering for more than 200 valves. The valves serve the new tank farm project at Sinopec's Anqing Petrochemical plant in Anhui, which will add four 3,000 m3 cracked raffinate storage tanks.

Marine pump specialist Svanehoj secured an order for 98 electric deep well cargo pumps for seven LNG/LBG-fuelled chemical and product tankers being built for FureBear at a Chinese shipyard in Yangzhou for delivery between 2023 and 2025.

HOERBIGER initiated construction of a new plant in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, on 29 November 2022, to house its Compression and Safety operations. The building is due for completion by the end of 2023.

Changhong Huayi's Jingzhou subsidiary began construction on a project adding 10 million small high-efficiency variable-frequency compressors per year, with total investment of 600 million yuan. Phase one is 4 million units with 400 million yuan invested, and the groundbreaking took place on October 28, 2022.

Jiangsu Suyan Valve Group is investing and building the Jiangsu Maike Special Valve Technology project with a planned total of 1 billion yuan, covering 50,000 square meters of plant space and capacity of 300,000 special valves a year; construction began in April 2022 and trial operation started in October 2022.

Chinese shipbuilder Hudong-Zhonghua contracted Norwegian firm TMC Compressors to supply compressed air and nitrogen system equipment for six 174,000-cbm LNG carriers ordered by MOL. TMC will manufacture the equipment in the Nordic region; the price was not disclosed.

Toyota Industries Electric Air Conditioning Compressor (Kunshan) raised capital by RMB 560 million to build a second phase producing electric air-conditioning compressors for new energy vehicles. The expansion is expected to add 1.2 million units of capacity.
