Mitsubishi Power consortium signs EPC contract for Portocem power plant in Brazil

A consortium of Mitsubishi Power and CONSAG Engenharia signed an EPC agreement with Portocem Geração de Energia and New Fortress Energy for the Portocem Thermoelectric Power Plant in Brazil. Mitsubishi Power will supply four M501JAC gas turbines for 1.6 GW capacity. Commercial operation expected in 2026.
