Mitsubishi Power will supply hydrogen-ready M701JAC gas turbines for Qatar's Facility E power and desalination project, adding 2.4 GW of power and 495,000 tons of desalinated water daily. The project is scheduled for operation in 2028.

Mitsubishi Generator received orders for four gas turbine generators for the Facility-E project on Qatar's eastern coast, with a total output of 2,400 MW. The project will be operated by Ras Abu Fontas Power Company and is scheduled to commence operations in 2028.

Mitsubishi Power, in cooperation with Samsung C&T and KAHRAMAA, has been awarded a contract to supply M701JAC gas turbines for Qatar's Facility E Independent Water and Power Project. The plant will add 2.4 GW of power and 495,000 tons/day of desalinated water, with operations expected in 2028.
