Nexans Autoelectric GmbH

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited, through its indirect subsidiary Motherson Global Investments B.V., completed the acquisition of Nexans Autoelectric GmbH and Elektrokontakt GmbH (collectively Autoelectric) on July 3, 2026.

Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd entered exclusive negotiations to acquire 100% of Nexans AutoElectric GmbH for an enterprise value of EUR 207 million. AutoElectric is a German manufacturer of automotive wiring harnesses.

Motherson Global Investments B.V. (part of Samvardhana Motherson group) notified the European Commission of its proposed acquisition of Nexans autoelectric GmbH from Nexans S.A. The concentration is accomplished by way of purchase of shares and assets.

Motherson has agreed to acquire 100% of Nexans autoelectric's global wiring harness business for an enterprise value of EUR 207 million. The transaction includes 22 facilities in 11 countries and is expected to close by mid-2026.

Nexans announced exclusive negotiations with Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (Motherson) for the sale of its wiring harness business Autoelectric for an enterprise value of €207 million. Autoelectric, headquartered in Floss, Germany, generated €749 million in sales in 2024.
