SLN, a joint venture between Angolan and Chinese investors, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a cement and clinker plant in Catumbela, Benguela, Angola. The $170 million facility will produce 3,500 tonnes per day of cement and clinker, with construction expected to take 15 months plus 3 months for testing.
