Severn Group, a UK family of specialist valve companies, has acquired Houston-based ValvTechnologies, a maker of metal-seated, zero-leakage severe-service valves. ValvTechnologies will keep operational independence within the group. The deal was announced on 6 November 2021.
Severn Unival's Brighouse team delivered six triple offset butterfly control valves to a north Russian LNG plant, shipping them by a mid-March deadline ahead of the spring ice-road closure. The customer was not named.
