Aeron AS has been awarded a contract worth approximately NOK 200 million by steel producer Stegra to supply HVAC systems for its new green steel production facility in Boden, Sweden. The project includes detailed engineering, design, procurement and installation, with completion in 2025.

Aquatech has announced a 25-year operations contract to deliver comprehensive water management solutions for Stegra's green steel plant in Boden, Sweden. The project is financed by John Laing and includes a 'water island' solution with zero liquid discharge.

Stegra has entered a corporate Private to Private Partnership with John Laing and Aquatech to design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new water treatment facility at Stegra's industrial site in Boden, Sweden. The plant is critical for the world's first large-scale green steel plant, with production planned to start in 2026.
