Alantra Private Equity is creating a holding company to acquire SPW Fabrics (Spain) and Manifattura Italiana Tessuti Indemagliabili (Italy), forming a group with €50 million revenue and four production sites in Italy, Spain, and Hungary.

Alantra Private Equity has combined Italy's MITI and Spain's SPW Fabrics to create a leading European platform in high-performance technical fabrics. The combined entity has €50 million in revenues, over 300 employees, and four manufacturing sites.

Alantra Private Equity's fourth fund acquired a controlling stake in SPW Fabrics, a Spanish manufacturer of technical fabrics for sportswear, swimwear, workwear, and healthcare applications. The founders retain a significant stake.
