Aqualectra

Aqualectra and Seven Seas Water Group signed a 20-year BOOT agreement for Seven Seas to construct a seawater reverse osmosis plant in Hato West, Curaçao, supplying at least 25,000 cubic meters of drinking water per day. The plant is scheduled to commence operations in October 2026.

Wärtsilä was contracted by Aqualectra to provide engineering, procurement and construction for a new 38.4 MW power plant in Curaçao. The Salu Power Plant will operate with four Wärtsilä 20V32 engines and support grid balancing as renewable energy increases.
