Mitsubishi Power, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, secured a contract to supply gas and steam turbines for a 500MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. The contract was signed with Sinohydro Corporation, the EPC contractor for the project.
