Eakas Corp. purchased 80 acres from the Illinois Valley YMCA for $2 million to expand its automotive parts manufacturing plant in Peru, Illinois. The expansion includes larger injection molding machines, a new decorative finish line, and increased warehousing, with completion targeted for spring 2025 and production startup in July 2025.
