ALU Materials, a subsidiary of ALUKO Group, will invest $36 million to renovate an existing facility in Madison County, Tennessee, to manufacture aluminum battery casings for Ford's Blue Oval City, creating 55 jobs.

South Korea-based ALUKO Group will locate its first US manufacturing facility in Jackson, Tennessee, to produce aluminum battery casings for Ford's BlueOval City, creating 55 jobs with a $36.3 million investment.

Aluko Co., Ltd. has won an order to supply end plates for EV batteries to LG Energy Solution Wroclaw sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of LG Energy Solution in Poland. The contract runs from March 2024 to December 2029 with expected sales of KRW 47.77 billion.

Aluko announced a five-year contract from 2026 to 2030 to supply module case protect frames worth $601.4 million to Blue Oval SK LLC, a joint venture between SK On and Ford, through its U.S. subsidiary Alu Materials America Inc.

Aluko announced on March 25 that it has acquired a 100% stake in Alumaterials Inc. to benefit from the AMPC under the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act.
