Cheboksary Power Plant to expand forklift production with $7.2M investment
Cheboksary Power Plant (ChZSA) signed an agreement to invest 600 million rubles (approx. $6.6 million) to expand production of SILANT forklifts in Cheboksary, Chuvashia, Russia. The 8,000 sqm facility will add 1,000 units per year of capacity and create 360 jobs, with launch planned in 2024.
