JSC AEM-technology's Volgodonsk branch has started making key equipment for unit 3 of the Xudapu nuclear plant in Liaoning Province, China, under a contract to supply two VVER-1200 reactors, steam generators, a reactor coolant pump set, piping and pressurizers totaling about 6,000 tons.

Rosatom said it has finished manufacturing six swing check valves and twelve wedge gate valves for the 1,000 MW Kudankulam units 3 and 4 in Tamil Nadu. Indian side carried out acceptance inspection.

Unit 4 of the Beloyarsk nuclear power plant, the 789 MWe BN-800 fast neutron reactor, has started commercial operation, state corporation Rosatom announced. The reactor burns mixed uranium-plutonium fuel.
