Sandow Lakes Energy Company

NEM Energy signed a contract with Siemens Energy to supply two horizontal Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for a new 1.2 GW combined cycle power plant in Texas, USA, supporting end user Sandow Lakes Energy Company.

Argan, through its subsidiary Gemma Power Systems, signed an EPC services contract with Sandow Lakes Energy Company for a 1.2 GW natural gas-fired combined cycle power plant in Lee County, Texas. Construction is expected to begin in summer 2025 with completion in 2028.

Sandow Lakes Energy Company plans to construct a 1,200-megawatt natural gas combined cycle power plant on its property in Lee County, Texas. Construction is expected to start in 2025, with power generation by 2028. An agreement with Siemens Energy reserves manufacturing slots for two SGT6-9000HL gas turbines.
