Surgical Instruments Group Holdings (SIGH), a UK-based medical device manufacturer, announced plans to set up a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, with an investment of INR 231.5 crore over 2-3 years. Phase 1 will produce general and precision surgical instruments, orthopedic power tools, and ophthalmic instruments; Phase 2 will add robotic medical devices.
