AcuaMed

A joint venture of Sacyr and Ferrovial was awarded a €89.5 million contract by Acuamed to expand, operate and maintain the Torrevieja desalination plant in Alicante, Spain. The expansion will increase output from 80 hm³ to 120 hm³ per year.

The Spanish cabinet awarded AcuaMed a contract worth approximately €108 million to expand the Torrevieja desalination plant in Alicante, increasing capacity from 80 Hm3/year to 120 Hm3/year. Construction is scheduled to take two years.
