Kemira divests Oil & Gas business to Sterling Specialty Chemicals
Kemira signed an agreement to divest its Oil & Gas-related portfolio to Sterling Specialty Chemicals LLC, a US subsidiary of Artek Group. The transaction includes manufacturing facilities in Mobile, Columbus, Aberdeen (US) and Teesport (UK), and approximately 250 employees will transfer. Revenue of the divested business was about EUR 430 million in 2022.
