Continental Compounders has invested in plant and machinery near Porto, Portugal, to supply compounds to manufacturers in Iberia, UK, Ireland and the Maghreb region.

Capitalworks Investment Partners has acquired a significant minority stake in Continental Compounders and Continental Engineering Compounds, the largest polymer compounder in Sub-Saharan Africa. The investment will support growth.

Private equity firm Capitalworks has taken a significant minority stake in South Africa's largest plastics compounder, Continental Compounders and Continental Engineering Compounds, which operates two manufacturing facilities in KwaZulu-Natal.
