Renco Group, a New York City-based holding company, acquired Renfro Brands, a textile manufacturer based in Mount Airy, North Carolina. The purchase price was not disclosed.

American Performance Polymers, a medical glove maker, is doubling the size of its plant and workforce in Colebrook, New Hampshire, supported by a $22.4 million contract from the Department of Defense to expand nitrile glove production capacity.

The expansion will add high-volume production of nitrile gloves and custom dipping services, with the facility currently having capacity for 40 million gloves per year and employing 20-30 people.

Zeppelin will supply Cat mobile mining equipment, Sandvik will supply the materials handling system including crushing and screening plant and overland conveyor.
