SCIO Automation GmbH completed the acquisition of Fabmatics GmbH, an automation specialist for material flow and handling in the semiconductor industry, on December 27, 2023. The deal was agreed on October 30, 2023, and closed on December 27, 2023.

SCIO Automation has agreed to acquire Fabmatics GmbH and its US subsidiary from the founding shareholders and Süd Beteiligungen GmbH, signed on October 30, 2023, subject to regulatory approvals.
