BETA Technologies will partner with Clinton County on a $41 million expansion of its existing facility at Plattsburgh International Airport to serve as manufacturing, final assembly, flight test, and delivery center for electric aircraft. The company commits to creating 85 jobs in exchange for a $20 million state grant.

Beta Technologies officially opened a large-scale manufacturing plant for its Alia all-electric aircraft in South Burlington, Vermont. The 188,500-square-foot factory is expected to produce up to 300 aircraft per year by 2027 and create hundreds of jobs.
