Baystar starts up new Borstar polyethylene unit in Pasadena, Texas
Baystar (Bayport Polymers LLC) launched its new Bay 3 polyethylene unit in Pasadena, Texas, with a capacity of 625,000 metric tons per year. The unit uses Borstar technology from Borealis and more than doubles Baystar's production capacity. Total investment exceeded $1.4 billion.
