Rex Power Magnetics

Rex Power Magnetics has completed the first phase of its operational scale-up, opening a new 50,000 ft2 factory in Etobicoke, Ontario, for dry-type transformer production, with initial output of 20 units per day and plans to reach 50 units per day.

The federal government invested nearly $4 million for Rex Power Magnetics to add a new transformer production cell at its Concord facility and create a new production line at its new facility in Etobicoke, creating 35 jobs.
