Hahn & Company acquired SKC's fine ceramics business unit for $270 million. The division, which makes semiconductor components including silicon quartz and alumina, will operate under a new company named Solmics.

Yake Technology's subsidiary Yake Semiconductor signed an agreement to purchase a 75.1% stake in SKC-ENF from SK enpulse for up to 500 billion KRW, to expand its electronic materials business and wet chemical production capacity.
