Mitsui Chemicals to double PUD capacity at Shimizu Factory
Mitsui Chemicals will expand polyurethane dispersion (PUD) production at its Shimizu Factory in Japan, approximately doubling domestic capacity to meet demand for mono-material food packaging. Construction starts February 2024, with operational launch in June 2025.
