Burckhardt Compression won a contract to supply its Laby compressor technology for the world's first purpose-built ammonia bunkering vessel, developed with Nissin Gas Engineering. The 5,000 cubic metre vessel, commissioned by Itochu, is scheduled for delivery in 2027. The order was announced on 27 November 2025.

Toppan Printing and ITOCHU agreed a capital and business alliance to acquire a 10.7% stake in TPN Food Packaging, a Thai flexible packaging company set up by the TPN Group, targeting food and toiletry packaging.
