SCG Chemicals and A.J. Plast will set up a joint venture in Vietnam to produce and distribute biaxially oriented film, with a total capital of 700 million baht, SCG Chemicals holding 45%.
SCG Chemicals, a unit of SCC, will subscribe to 40,560,773 new A.J. Plast shares, about 9.22%, at 17.15 baht per share, totaling roughly 696 million baht, in a private placement.
