Heraeus Medevio

Heraeus Medevio completed the Phase III expansion of its Costa Rica site in Cartago, adding 118,400 square feet and 500 jobs with a $35 million investment. The grand opening ceremony was held on February 26, 2025.

CorTec GmbH and Heraeus Medevio have formed a strategic partnership to collaborate on neuromodulation device development and production, combining CorTec's prototyping expertise with Medevio's large-scale manufacturing.

Heraeus Medevio broke ground on a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic, representing a €40 million investment. The facility will create about 200 jobs, with product manufacturing beginning in early 2025.

Heraeus Medevio completed Phase II of its Costa Rica site expansion with a $20 million investment, adding 500 jobs, and broke ground on Phase III with a $35 million investment, expected to create 1,000 jobs. Phase III construction will start in Q3 2023 with completion in late 2024.
