CORTEC has been awarded a multi-million-dollar turnkey contract to deliver an upgraded Managed Pressure Drilling manifold package for an unnamed major international deepwater operation. The package includes valves, chokes, relief systems and piping built to NACE and API-6A PSL-3 standards.

Cortec was awarded a multi-million dollar contract to manufacture and supply a full range of 10K PSI metal-seated valves for an existing facility upgrade in the Mediterranean region.

Cortec Group acquired Rotating Machinery Services (RMS), a provider of aftermarket repair and overhaul services for large rotating machinery, from Incline Equity Partners. RMS has about 200 employees and four operating locations.

Cortec LLC will invest $2.5 million to expand its industrial coatings facility in Port Allen, Louisiana, adding four direct jobs and retaining 42 existing jobs. The expansion is expected to be operational by the second quarter of 2019.

Minnesota-based Cortec introduced CorrTainer corrosion protection boxes with vapour phase corrosion inhibitors in the cardboard walls, produced on a newly installed box-making machine.
