Shipham Valves, a East Yorkshire valve maker now independent after leaving Wärtsilä, completed a spring 2022 investment programme buying eight new machines and pressure testing equipment.
Wärtsilä has sold 100% of Wärtsilä Valves Ltd to an affiliate of Evergreen Capital L.P. of New York. The UK valve maker, based in Brough with about 65 employees, had 2019 revenues of about EUR 15 million.
