Wärtsilä has sold 100% of Wärtsilä Valves Ltd to an affiliate of Evergreen Capital L.P. of New York. The UK valve maker, based in Brough with about 65 employees, had 2019 revenues of about EUR 15 million.
Wartsila Valves, formerly Shipham Valves, is relocating its entire manufacturing operations from Hawthorn Avenue to a 60,000 sq ft premises at Humber Enterprise Park in Hull to allow for expansion.
