Venator Group

Turkish chemical producer Ege Kimya acquired the dryer (siccative) division of UK-based Venator, including all brands, formulations, and intellectual property rights. The acquisition positions Ege Kimya among leading suppliers of metal-based chemicals for the paint and coatings industry.

PD Ports secured a new ten-year contract extension with global chemical company Venator for logistics and warehousing operations at Port of Hartlepool, extending a 20-year relationship and securing 24 jobs.

Venator Group has acquired the business, plants in Cuxhaven and Hemmoor, and all 57 employees of Giesserei Schmidt GmbH & Co. KG, an iron and aluminum foundry that had been in insolvency since January 2023. The acquisition was effective May 1, 2023.
