Parker-Hannifin has agreed to acquire Filtration Group Corporation, a U.S. private company affiliated with Madison Industries, on a cash-free, debt-free basis for $9.25 billion. The deal is expected to close within six to twelve months, subject to regulatory approvals.
Pentair plc announced a definitive agreement to acquire Hydra-Stop LLC, a specialty valve maker in Burr Ridge, Illinois, from Madison Industries for approximately $290 million in cash. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2025.
Filtration Group, a Madison Industries subsidiary, took over the Industrial Filtration division of Mahle, following Mahle's announcement the previous autumn that it wanted to withdraw from the business.
