Toyoda Gosei to expand airbag production in Itapetininga, Brazil
Toyoda Gosei, through its Brazilian subsidiary GDBR Industria e Comércio de Componentes Químicos e Borracha, will expand its plant in Itapetininga, São Paulo. The built-up area will grow from 18,000 to 22,800 square meters, with new equipment for airbag and steering wheel manufacture, requiring an initial investment of R$ 90 million.
