Torex Gold Resources ordered a 28-strong fleet of battery-electric vehicles from Rokion for its Media Luna project in Mexico. Deliveries are set to start at the end of 2023.

MacLean Engineering has been chosen by Torex Gold Resources Inc. to supply a fleet of battery electric mining vehicles (BEVs) for the Media Luna Project at the Morelos Complex in Mexico. The fleet includes utility vehicles such as explosives chargers, elevated work platforms, graders, and material transporters.

Sandvik received a major order from Torex Gold Resources to supply a 35-unit mining equipment fleet for the Media Luna project in Mexico, including 15 battery-electric vehicles and 20 conventional units. The order is valued at approximately SEK 650 million, with deliveries from Q3 2023 through Q4 2025.
