AUO Corporation

AUO Corporation has completed its acquisition of German company Behr-Hella Thermocontrol GmbH (BHTC) for an enterprise value of €600 million, gaining 100% equity. The deal strengthens AUO's position in smart mobility services as a Tier 1 automotive supplier.

AUO signed a contract with PlayNitride on October 31, 2023, for PlayNitride to set up a 6-inch Micro LED Chip on Carrier production line at AUO's Longtan Tech Park facility, valued at NT$700 million over 30 months.

AUO Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% equity interest in Behr-Hella Thermocontrol GmbH (BHTC) at an enterprise value of €600 million. BHTC specializes in human-machine interface and climate control solutions for vehicles.

AUO's board resolved to acquire 5% to 30% of Crystalvue Medical Corporation through its subsidiary AUO Display Plus via a tender offer, aiming to combine optics and display technologies for the smart healthcare market.
