Five Taiwanese firms approved for NT$15.4B domestic investment plan
The Ministry of Economic Affairs approved five Taiwanese companies (TYC Brother, Awea Mechantronic, Acon Optics, Coating P. Materials, Yung Sheng Optical) to invest NT$15.4 billion (US$499.3 million) and create 1,300 jobs in Taiwan. The approval was announced on April 19, 2019.
