Hydnum Steel

Hydnum Steel and Primetals Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding to build a greenfield green steel production plant in Puertollano, Spain. The plant will initially produce 1.5 million tons of hot rolled coils, with annual capacity projected at 2.6 million tons by 2030.

Hydnum Steel announced plans to build a green steel production plant in Puertollano, Spain, with an initial investment of EUR 600 million. The plant will create 400 direct jobs and use renewable hydrogen.
