RWE

Burckhardt Compression secured a contract to supply boil-off gas and pipeline injection compressors for the German government-backed onshore LNG import terminal in Brunsbüttel. The terminal is a joint venture involving Gasunie and RWE.

RWE has commissioned Sunfire to supply a 100 MW alkaline electrolyser and Bilfinger to build auxiliary systems for the third construction phase of its 300 MW GET H2 Nukleus green hydrogen plant in Lingen, Germany, with commissioning planned for 2027. The contract value is in the low hundred-million-euro range.

A GE Renewable Energy Grid Solutions and Sembcorp Marine consortium was selected as preferred supplier of the HVDC transmission system for RWE's 1.4 GW Sofia offshore wind farm on Dogger Bank in the North Sea. More than 50% of the components will be made in local facilities.
