Ambienta's platform company In.Pack Machinery acquired Karlville Swiss, a manufacturer of machines for pre-made pouches headquartered in Balerna, Switzerland. The acquisition is part of Ambienta's buy-and-build strategy in packaging machinery.

Karlville Swiss has joined the In.Pack Machinery group alongside Mobert, Amutec and SCAE to create a leading provider of bag and pouch converting machines. The group has established a USA office in Miami, Florida.
